Robin Hanson ([email protected]) is an associate professor of economics at George Mason University and a research associate at the Future of Humanity Institute of Oxford University. He was a researcher in A.I. from 1984 to 1993, and he is writing a book on the social implications of the cheap availability of a brain emulation form of artificial intelligence.
