Sam Rutzick was the fall 2020 Burton C. Gray Journalism intern for Reason.
He lives in Fairfax, Virginia, and writes about land and forest management, regulatory issues, Native American issues, and generally items that are interesting.
Previously, he interned for the Competitive Enterprise Institute. He graduated from Columbia University in 2020. His work has appeared in the Baltimore Times, Spiked! Online, the Navajo Times, and elsewhere. Outside of serious policy, he enjoys binging Netflix, reading very trashy science fiction, and visiting museums.
